Help Renee represent Australia, Twice!

Renee is a 19 year old, visually impaired, uni student who also works part time. She competes in Athletics, specialising in Hammer Throw.
Her achievements over the years have included many state titles, National titles and a National meet record. In 2019, she competed up an age group and represented Australia at the Oceania Championships, where she won a Bronze medal.
In March last year, Renee sustained injuries to her back and hip, resulting in weekly physio visits, specialist doctors appointments and several injections into her spine and hip. Her injuries meant minimal training and a delayed start to her season, which started with a win at the State Championships.
Two weeks before Nationals, our house was flooded, and a few days later she contracted Covid. Despite all this, she went out and became the National u20 Hammer Throw Champion.
Renee has been selected to represent Australia at not one, but two International Championships in June. The Oceania Athletics Championships will be held in Mackay, Queensland and The Pacific Games will be held in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands.
Fees for the two Championships will total at least $8000 (estimate), and include Team Levy, Uniforms, Flights and Accommodation.
We would like to thank everyone involved in getting Renee wearing the Green and Gold again!
Thank you for your support.
