Help Renovate Turlock HS Athletic Training Room!

Hi, my name is Sarah Galvan, and I’m currently working on my Eagle Scout project to renovate the athletic training room at Turlock High School. This space is vital for over 600 student-athletes who rely on it for injury treatment, rehabilitation, and support throughout the year. However, the room’s current design and equipment are outdated and inefficient, making it difficult for our athletic trainer and student aides to serve everyone effectively.
As the president of HOSA and a student athletic training aide for two years, I’ve seen firsthand how much this space means to our athletes. On our busiest days, we’ve treated and taped up to 90 students, all while preparing for games and practices. Our loved athletic trainer, Tiana, works tirelessly, but the room isn’t equipped to handle this volume. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create a functional, welcoming environment that supports both treatment and recovery.
The remodel includes:
- New treatment tables and cabinets to improve functionality and storage.
- An organized physical therapy area for stretching and rehab exercises.
- Enhanced whirlpool and sink stations for recovery treatments.
- Improved layout and design to maximize space and efficiency.
This project isn’t just about the space; it’s about the students. When athletes walk into the training room, they’re often dealing with pain, frustration, or anxiety. A better environment means they’ll feel supported and cared for, both physically and emotionally.
Your donation will directly fund equipment, materials, and supplies needed to bring this vision to life. Any amount helps, and I’m so grateful for your support as we work together to make a lasting impact on our school and community.
Thank you for helping us create a space where our student-athletes can thrive!
