Help save a special part of New York City!
When Alice’s Tea Cup opened 18 years ago it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. Steadily and charmingly it has grown into much more than that. Alice’s is an establishment that represents the best of New York and New Yorkers, both locally adored and tourist friendly, as anyone traveling to NYC with children will attest!
Recently, founders and sisters Haley and Lauren Fox, had to temporarily close all three locations in response to the global health crisis (COVID-19). It is their intention to rehire as many of their 72 employees as possible when they are given the clearance to reopen. But with each passing day, with each passing week, the ability to reopen becomes more financially complicated and difficult.
New York is made up of neighborhoods and Alice’s has become one of our neighbors. To everyone who has enjoyed Alice's Tea Cup, delighted in watching your child getting sprinkled with fairy dust by smiling staff or would give just about anything to have a pumpkin scone and a cup of Indian Chai right about now… Please consider donating to this fund which will assist in paying their landlords, utilities, vendors, and, of course, beloved staff.
As the community that loves Alice’s we feel we would all be Mad as Hatters if we didn't help try to ensure the return of Alice's Tea Cup. Any contribution, however small is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
