Help Repair an Elderly Couple's Van

I am doing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear cousins, Carol Ann Creek Fehrenbach and her husband Kris Fehrenbach. They have not asked for help but desperately need it. They both receive modest Social Security checks as their only income. She is 75 and he is 72. They both have COPD and are dependent on supplemental oxygen.

Carol Ann is involved with cat and dog rescue. She loves animals, as well as people. She has a heart of gold and always tries to help as much as possible.

Prior to the price increases due to inflation, they were doing okay. They are frugal and manage their money well. However, their 2003 Town and Country van has broken down and no longer works. They were given a quote to repair the blown head gasket of $1600. They simply don't have the money. This is their only mode of transportation.
