Help repair flood damage to Brumby Sanctuary!

Please help us to repair flood damage at our Brumby Sanctuary!

The Victorian Brumby Association is a registered charity, was formed in 2007 and has taken in hundreds of Brumbies since. Those Brumbies that aren't rehomed live their days at the Sanctuary.

Our Victorian floods have devastated our Sanctuary, destroying fences and smashing our central river crossing which gives us access to almost all of the property.

We initially thought our fences were covered by insurance but this isn't the case.

The damage this flood had caused is massive. Without our river crossing, we have no vehicular access to most of our Brumbies and can only get to them by wading through the thigh deep river!

We have temporarily shored up the worst of the boundary fencing damage to contain the Brumbies on our property but this temporary measure won't hold for long.

Our first aim is to replace the crossing and we have started getting quotes for the earth works for this.

Between the river crossing and the fences we are expecting repairs to cost around $50,000.

We are asking for your help to raise $15,000 to go towards materials for fencing.

We haven't done a fund-raiser in more than 12 months but our need is desperate.
