Help Repair Ms. Sandra's Historic Adair Park Home

We're raising funds to help our neighbor, Sandra Ngube, carry out much-needed repairs to her residence on Tift Ave.

For those who don't know her, Ms. Sandra is as much a part of Adair Park as the historic homes that line our streets. She's the kind of person who will ask how you're doing as you pass by, and part ways with a heartfelt "I love you." Many of us have enjoyed an afternoon conversation on Ms. Sandra's front porch.

Ms. Sandra spend nearly 30 years in housekeeping at Emory Hospital. As a single mother, she managed to juggle two jobs, pulling a second shift at Grady Hospital, all with the goal of securing a home for her family.

She moved to Adair Park in 1986 and raised two daughters on Tift Avenue. Today her home is a beehive of activity with visits from longtime friends, neighbors and family. Her home has seen countless celebrations, love, laughter, tears, and everything in between. It is a home that has always been open to friends, neighbors, and family.

Now, Ms. Sandra needs our help. After years of wear and tear, her home requires significant repairs. Let's come together, as a community, to ensure that Sandra can continue to live in the home she worked so hard for.
