The amazing Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum is in the Restoration Phase! I would like to thank all of the donors for their assistance in the restoration of the Mt Blanco Museum.
Your very generous donations to Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum have put metal on the main roof damage. THANK YOU, AGAIN!
The other part is coated, and we’ll hope to put metal on it.
All old carpets and particle board flooring is out. What a job that was! Original floor is ok.
Damaged fossils are repaired.
Only one display case remains to be repaired.
Broken pottery will take some time.
Broken glass all repaired.
Created a new hallway of shelves to store un prepped fossils.
Water damaged graphics and info plaques redone.
Windows cleaned today. Look great.
Hope to announce a grand re-opening in July.
Starting to raise enough funds to make displays of a dozen fascinating new displays.
Raising funds to display over 100 fossil tracks of everything: insect, fish, birds, land animals, water
During restoration of museum, we managed to restore a beautiful black mastodon skull.
Made significant in-situ (in the ground) molds of the alleged “Wagon Tracks” at Austin. The mold of the tracks will allow controlled scientific study.
Molded a large Tylosaurus skeleton in situ. Will be mounted on its own wall.
Made several dinosaur bone reproductions.
Launched a proposed new film series, starting with a giant man burial in Texas.
Started research on a giant site in New Mexico.
Filmed and molded the mysterious “wagon Tracks” at Austin.
Molded the mystery rock in Missouri.
Joe has almost finished three new books.
We still need a bit of assistance in the completion of the restoration of fossil displays which were damaged during the storm. Any help is highly appreciated and i thank all of you for your generous support of the Mt Blanco Fossil Museum.
