Help Repatriate Nicole to Her Final Resting Place in Rwanda

Dear Friends, Colleagues, and relatives,

It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we share the tragic story of our beloved family member Nicole Musaniwabo. At just 26 years old, her life was taken far too soon, leaving us devastated and heartbroken. Nicole had been living in Stuttgart, Germany for over a year, dedicated to her vocational training as a geriatric care nurse. She was full of life, happy, friendly, and passionate about helping others, committed to making a difference, and was filled with dreams of building a brighter future.

Last week, our worst fears were confirmed. After disappearing for several days, her body was discovered in the Neckar River, the victim of a violent and senseless act. The police investigation is ongoing, but nothing can ease the pain of losing someone so young, so loving, and so full of promise.

Nicole was an orphan, and the only family she has left is her sister in Rwanda, who is unable to travel to Germany due to her advanced pregnancy. Now, our greatest wish is to honor her memory by bringing her home to Kigali, Rwanda, so that her sister, family, and friends can lay her to rest with the dignity and love she deserves.

We have gathered the necessary information, and the cost of repatriating her body to Rwanda is approximately 12,000€. This amount covers every step of the way, from retrieving her body to the final journey that will bring her home in Rwanda.

But we cannot do this alone.

We are reaching out to ask for your support in any way you can. No amount is too small, and every contribution brings us closer to reuniting Nicole with her family and allowing her to find peace in her homeland. How will the funds be used?

The funds will go to my bank account and as mentioned in the subject and explained above, the big portion will be used to pay the company that is helping with the repatriation of the body from Stuttgart to Kigali, Rwanda. The rest will be used to purchase the flight tickets for two accompanying persons that include my wife who was the cousin of late Nicole Musaniwabo, and any other necessary things for these circumstances.
