Norway for Botswana (NfB) is fundraising to help build a therapy and training campsite for abused, exploited, traumatised, and grieving children in Botswana. This therapy and training campsite is owned and run by Ark and Mark Trust in Botswana. Tents are used to accommodate children at the campsite. These tents wear out quickly; are affected by heat, bad weather; and can allow in water during rainy seasons. Your help to replace these tents with cabins will make it possible to reach out to thousands of children who need help, over many years! See here Ark and Mark . Our wish is to build at least 20 cabins. Each cabin costs $10000 and fits 8 children. We are more than grateful for your generosity to help build! See Norway For Botswana website
The campsite currently has capacity to accommodate 200 children at a time, and usually serves at least 1000 children in a year. Ark and Mark Trust has reached over 20000 children thus far. More and more children need their service. Your donation will help provide permanent, comfortable and secure accommodation for thousands of children, over many years.
You can travel to help build (as an individual, family, school, organisation, etc). You can experience cultural exchange and safari.

There are over 100 000 orphaned children in Botswana (UNICEF, 2020), within a population of 2 million+ people only. Many of these children experience exploitations of all kinds and educational challenges. There is also a high rise of child sexual abuse in the country. The girl child is the most affected.
The Campsite
At the campsite, Ark and Mark Trust Botswana offers intensive therapy, team building, leadership skills and empowerment sessions to these young people. It also intervenes in their families and communities. Ark and Mark Trust serves the whole country with its service, in partnership with Botswana’s Department of Social Protection in 17 districts.
