Hello, I’m Tori Pollard and my son Mason had his 15th birthday party Saturday at forest Glenn in the aubarn. He only wanted one thing he told his parents that he just wanted the axels for his four wheeler that he and his dad have been working on together to get fixed so it’s safe to ride. He likes to do these projects with his dad and he was so excited that he finally got the last piece that will complete the four wheeler. So dad and mom ordered him the correct axels off eBay and wrapped them in a big box and let him open last. He was stoked about it and he even wanted to get started with putting them on as soon as possible. We cleaned up the barn and loaded what we needed to take home. Dad thought mom put box of axels in truck and mom thought dad did but neither did mom. We left park around 7 realized on way home neither of us loaded it. We returned to park at 830 to look in the barn windows and no box on a bench like it was last seen on. Sunday we got to ranger station he takes my name and number down he hasn’t seen anything. Monday today I call the office at forest Glenn lady takes my name down and says she will ask around I described the box to her that it was in. No call I ended up calling again she says she called the person who locked up the building he says he seen boxes but thought it was trash. I say the box was pretty heavy when you lift it so he should of know something was in it. She said oh I don’t think he would of pick up to put in trash then I was like can u look where trash is. The lady said I will go up there to look and she never called back I was off work by then so I drove out there and she told me that he seen the boxes and threw them away. So I asked where the trade was to go look through it she takes me up there to look I go through it and find nothing the guy was like if it was a heavy box he wouldn’t of threw it away. My question is where is it I don’t have it it’s not in trash forest Glenn doesn’t know and I understand that they aren’t responsible for lost items but we went right up there after we realized it . My son is devastated he looked forward to his four wheeler being fixed for like two months now. I don’t have another 150.00 money is very tight and I was able to get because I got a unexpected bonus from my work. I’m just trying to raise some funds to help get him the part because my heart hurts for him I don’t like seeing my children upset. Anything will help
