Help Replace My Teeth After Assault

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

On the 14th of March, I was involved in an unfortunate and traumatic incident at my local pub in Edinburgh. While stepping in to protect a pregnant woman from an escalating situation, I was assaulted. As a result of the attack, I lost my front teeth and have been left physically and emotionally shaken I perform at my comedy club 7 days a week & my smile is my business

I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help, but the costs for dental treatment to repair my teeth are overwhelming I got bridge work done in Northern Ireland under the NHS but now living in Scotland im told this isnt covered here & the quote I got was £3800.

I'm very proud & don't like handouts so anyone that can help me ill give you free tickets to any of my shows ill even buy you a beer as a thank you.

I've been in contact with the Cold town pub co & they are refusing to help saying that they have done everything they can to have a duty of care to customers, I don't think they realize that I know the manager has been fired for his handling of this situation, that alone is an admission of guilt.

I'm sure in time I'll get some sort of compensation but for now I'm left having to perform with damaged teeth.

My attacker has been arrested & charged for assault / harassment.

I still got on stage 20 mins after the assault.

The damage has not only affected my ability to eat but my confidence & I have a speech impediment now which is difficult being a comedian.

I still get on stage to perform every night because unlike the cold town pub co I have a real duty of care to my customers & ill always deliver on that promise to lift people's spirits with laughter
