Help Replace the Sherman's Stolen Savings
Donation protected
Less than a week into 2021, Elizabeth and Brandon were burglarized. The thieves didn’t take televisions or phones or computers. As they ransacked the Sherman’s possessions, they found, and stole, a safe containing all of Elizabeth and Brandon’s important papers, as well as the nest egg they had been saving for years to put forward to their dream of owning their own home. For years, Elizabeth has been saving her cash payments and tips from her work as a Princess Entertainer, bringing joy to children at birthday parties, and both public and private events. For years, Brandon has been teaching private music lessons, specializing in voice, acting, piano, music composition, guitar, and ukulele, accommodating a studio of 60 students per week (before the pandemic hit). Even through this pandemic which has disrupted Elizabeth and Brandon’s ability to work, the two of them have diligently saved for years for their dream.
It’s now gone.
Through Elizabeth’s work as an entertainer and through Brandon’s work as a teacher, the Shermans demonstrate every day hearts that are full of compassion and love. They would be the first to tell you that they are OK and are moving forward. In fact, when Brandon put out a call for help, it wasn’t for donations, but opportunities to work. They would never ask people directly for money. Which is why we are doing it for them.
For years, Elizabeth and Brandon have added love to the world, together we can give some of that love back to them. This GoFundMe was created to replace the Sherman’s stolen savings. It’s a lot. It may not be possible, but we have to at least try. Please help if you can, how you can, if it’s money with this GoFundMe, if it’s something directly to the Shermans, or if it’s reaching out for a (virtual) hug. However big or small, it all matters.

Brandon Sherman's Facebook Post 1/4/21:
“Well, sadly Elizabeth and I had some items and our safe stolen last night from our garage, which had a very large amount of cash toward our house in it. It feels kind of like the scene from UP (in which every time they're close to their goals, they sadly have the goalposts moved) but we're safe, and we're taking care of each other.
Yes, we've contacted the police, yes we're going to contact renters insurance, but they won't cover nearly the amount we had.
It's with a heavy, and humble heart that I'm reaching out to the Facebook family.
We're okay, we're not hurting or anything, and we're not going to starve, but:
If anyone has any extra side work or needs any help with things, please don't hesitate to let me know. It would be extremely appreciated and very helpful to get us back on that track."
