Help Reptar Walk Again – Urgent Surgery Needed!
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out for help for my sweet pug, Reptar. He’s not just a pet—he’s my family. He has been by my side through everything over the last 7 years, my constant shadow, always following me from room to room, never letting me feel alone. Now, he needs me more than ever, and I’m doing everything I can to help him.
Recently, Reptar was diagnosed with neurological spine issues, and the vet has recommended urgent surgery to remove damaged discs. Without it, he risks permanent paralysis.
Right now, Reptar is struggling to use his hind legs properly. He wobbles when he walks, often losing his balance, and needs constant assistance just to move around. Simple things—like standing up, shifting positions, or walking to his water bowl—are becoming increasingly difficult for him. He can no longer go potty on his own without help, as his back legs collapse underneath him. Watching him struggle like this is absolutely heartbreaking.
At 35 lbs, Reptar is overweight, which has put extra strain on his already fragile spine. We are working hard on helping him lose weight, but his condition has worsened faster than we anticipated. Instead of surgery, he was given a steroid injection to temporarily manage his pain, but this is not a long-term solution. The vet has made it clear that surgery is his best chance at a pain-free life—but the cost of the procedure, MRIs, and follow-up care is far beyond what I can afford alone.
How Your Support Helps:
Covers the cost of MRI scans, surgery, and post-op care
Helps Reptar regain mobility and independence
Gives him a better quality of life without pain
Right now, I’m doing everything I can to keep my little dude comfortable, but he needs more help than I can provide on my own. Any donation, big or small, will bring him closer to the care he desperately needs. If you can’t donate, please share this with others—every bit of support makes a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
