Help Support a Small Business Affected By the Palisades Fire

We are Claudia and Nicole - two small business owners in the Malibu community. Never in our lives would we have imagined that overnight our dream, our passion, our livelihood would be taken away from us.

Malibu Beach Aesthetics was more than a business; it was a place that people trusted. Our clients are more than just clients, they are our friends and family. They knew that they would be able to let their guard down and feel safe when they were with us. Claudia and I have a passion for helping others. We are committed to our clients and our community. We listened to them and helped them reach their goals.

We tragically lost this dream when our beloved business burned to the ground during the Palisades Fire. Our building, located at the historic old Malibu courthouse, was not just a workspace—it was the heart of our dream to serve our community. We worked so hard through countless sleepless nights, stressful times, and struggled to build our business.

We have only had our business for a few years, so we are still in the process of paying off equipment and paying off our loans and debts. When this fire happened, we were still in the red, hoping that one day soon we would see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now that we have lost it all, that light at the end of the tunnel has darkened just like it has darkened for so many other individuals.

Due to the ever-changing coverage, premiums, and exclusions created by the insurance companies, we have faced the reality that we may not be able to rebuild on our own. Many insurance coverages have denied claims on damage/loss created by natural disasters. We have fallen into the category of individuals who will not be able to have the cost of equipment, medical devices, supplies, and other expenses covered due to the damage created by a natural disaster, such as this fire.

We stand with everyone who has been affected by the fires across Los Angeles. We know that it will take some time to rebuild. We know that it will take some time to gain that strength and trust. We know that it will take some time to comprehend what we all have lost, but, most importantly, we know that together, with everyone’s support, we will get through this.
