Help RESTORE Almiropotamos

My name is Dimitri Damianos.

I am from Melbourne, Australia.

Over the last 24 hours - my Village (χωριό) in Greece has been devastated by Hurricane Daniel. We are located at Almiropotamos, Euboia. We have many family & friends that have been deeply impacted by this. A tourist location, our Island is that for Tourists. For what is coming to the end of the Summer season - the devastation and damage bill far outweighs any money made throughout the tourism period.

If only we were closer to be hands on to assist. Through many of our networks, I ask if you can donate what you can for money to be sent to our Village back home to assist with the much needed restoration and rectification works.

Us Greeks are known for our φιλότιμο - a word that means so much. A time for giving. I ask you to give what you can & help what we can do to ease the burden for so many of our loved ones back home.
