Help Restore Baytown's 1947 Mack Fire Truck

“Earlier this February, The Baytown Fire Department sent our historic 1947 Mack Fire Truck to undergo a complete restoration. Unfortunately, unforeseen significant deterioration was discovered upon the disassembly, requiring additional funding for repairs. This treasure of a fire truck was purchased prior to the merger of Pelly, Goose Creek, and Baytown and is the oldest piece of machinery owned by the City of Baytown. Even with the generous support of our City’s government, funds are needed to help us complete this project. We are reaching out to our Baytown community to help us save this remarkably important piece of Baytown’s long and rich history.”
