Help Restore Beach Bums After the Storm

Beach Bums
Jared & Monica Hunt grew up in Perry. He grew up in Perry and his parents opened Fiddler's Restaurant in Steinhatchee in 2000. They celebrated their 5th anniversary owning Beach Bums on September 30, 2024. What a difference one storm makes.
This is the last bit of old Florida still existing. No skyscrapers. Palm trees reach the water here. They loan tools whenever needed and work to keep people on the water. They even cooked your catch for you or helped fix your rig so you could get into the water!
They grew up on the coast knowing things happen and have lived through flooding in the past. They expected 5-6 feet of water and were shocked when the store was gone. The canopy remained!
They are starting from a clean slate now - and have to work with the current building codes. They are told they can build anything, as long as it is 17' in the air...
Let's help them get a solution that works for everyone. Duck Key Marina had trailers for bathrooms and food service while they were renovating. Maybe we can build a portable store solution for Keaton Beach that could be moved to safety with a day's notice.
Donate and tell your story of how this couple has blessed your day.
Full disclosure per GoFundMe request: This was created by Douglas Menck (Ninja RV Services, LLC) because I have a computer background. However, all proceeds (100% of what GoFundMe pays out) will go toward rebuilding Beach Bums.
Personally, I look forward to getting another black coffee from Beach Bums along with a huge smile.
