Help Fund Brandis Bone Graft

I am lucky enough to call Brandi one of my best friends. She is one of the most selfless, caring, and compassionate people that I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing (shout out to Conestoga College for bringing us together!)
Brandi is in need of some major restorative dental work to help restore bone matter in her jaw before she can even consider dental implants in place of her 4 congenitally missing teeth (teeth 34, 35, 44, 45)
Congenitally missing teeth (Anodontia) means the absence of one (or more) teeth. Anodontia is a genetic/hereditary absence of permanent adult teeth.
Congenitally missing teeth are something that effect her every single day with chewing, eating, talking, and self esteem.
Recently, Brandi had been referred to a specialist who ordered a CT scan to be done. The results of this CT scan showed that Brandi had very progressive bone loss where her teeth were never replaced. The bone loss was compared to that of 70-year-old. This bone loss occurred because Brandi has never gotten treatment for her congenitally missing teeth.
Without a bone graft and implants, the rest of Brandi’s bone will eventually dissipate. When that occurs, the bone graft will no longer be an option. This will cause the rest of her molars to fall victim to gum recession and loss. Eventually, the back molars themselves could become unstable.
This surgery will also be a good opportunity for dental research as this type of surgery is not often done. Brandi has agreed to sign consent in order to participate in other dentist learning experiences. Unfortunately, this research comes with a steep price that is not government funded.
Brandi was born with this abnormality and greatly wants to obtain treatment before it is no longer an option.
As one of her best friends, I am well aware of the daily struggles she has had since her childhood years with her teeth and her smile. Those in Brandi’s life are lucky enough to know how beautiful she is inside and out but it is heartbreaking to know that she often hides her smile because of the condition of her teeth.
This is just the first step in restoring Brandi's smile! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated so that this can be possible.
