Help Restore Family Home After Fire!

On June 5th, 2024, my mother texted my sister and I the words "house caught fire!". Her family home, that she only recently had acquired, had a dangerous electrical fire, charring and burring the homes interior. The fire erupted in the room that used to be her grandmothers and temporarily had been used for storage of art and family relics. My mother was not yet ready to go through this room, as she was still grieving and recovering from a long battle in court for deed fraud, so it was left unattended. Upon putting out the fire that day, the fire department also found a large gas leak, explaining my mother's symptoms leading up to the fire. Luckily, everyone was unharmed and safe but now my mother, two younger siblings and their loving cats are left homeless until their house is fully repaired.

We are raising money to have the home properly rewired and looked at by a professional electrician. When we first arrived to this house in March, we quickly learned that while the house was sitting, someone had stole the wires from under the home for the purpose of selling the copper. We have since been troubleshooting the electrical issues within a very short time to make the house livable. We discovered far too late that electrical issues were fairly dangerous and out of date.

My mother has only recently obtained her family home after a long battle of deed fraud and paying off an evil woman, we are finding that it has been ripped from them once again. I am making this GFM in hopes of helping relieve my mother from this cycle of misfortune. My younger siblings (ages 11 & 13) deserve peace and a safe home to grow up in. My family loves their dear cats very much and also do not want to have to part ways with them due to this fire.
