Help Restore My Beloved Double Bass

On December 12, 2024 I returned to playing the double bass after a break of a few decades and I am sharing videos of my playing on YouTube at @bassbass2024. So far I have posted 22 videos on my YouTube channel. I love playing the double bass and sharing music with people!

Unfortunately my double bass is cracked in several places, the bridge is warped, and the strings are over 25 years old. My double bass needs repairs that will cost up to $3,000 and it is currently in the shop. The estimate for the repair states: "Take Top Off, Repair internal cracks and bass bar, new bridge, new strings, setup."
