Help restore my mom’s home

Hello, I am Nicole. I have recently begun the process of remodeling my mother’s home after years of neglect due to mental health problems. My mother Maryann, 68, has been through many tragedies in her life, including losing her son at the age of 18 to a horrendous car accident, and most recently her husband, who died of a heart attack in the home. In the 4 years since my stepfather’s passing, the condition of the house has deteriorated drastically. It’s gotten to a point where it is unsafe for her and o be living there in the current condition, so my sister and I are stepping in to clean and remodel the house. I will be moving out of my home to live with her and invest the money I have into the house to get started. We are starting this gofundme in hopes to raise enough to get most of house new flooring and painted. There’s a ton more that needs to be done but it’s going to be a very expensive project all in all so I am really hoping this will help us get started on top of what I have.
