Help Restore Our Beloved Community Coffee Shop

Indian Shores Coffee Company has served Indian Shores and the Gulf Coast beaches of Clearwater & St. Petersburg for 17 years. Born of Greg Bauman’s passion for phenomenal coffee, Indian Shores has become a legacy institution: nominated first or second best coffee shop in the region by The Best of St. Pete/Clearwater every single year that the awards have been given. Known for their addicting muffins and rockin’ open mic nights, Indian Shores is a beloved, community-oriented coffee shop that brings joy to hundreds of thousands of people. On Thursday, September 26th, Indian Shores Coffee Company experienced four to five feet of storm surge from Hurricane Helene that destroyed the floor, subfloor, counters, plumbing, electrical wiring, walls, and all operating equipment of the business. Damage is currently estimated at between $75,000 and $150,000 with a recovery timeline of three to six months. Closing during peak season adds an incalculable burden of revenue loss to the already devastating damages. In order to keep serving St. Pete/Clearwater’s best coffee Indian Shores Coffee Company needs your help. Along with the cost of repairs a portion of these funds will support staff that have experienced their own devastating losses.
