Help Restore Palisades Plumbing After Fires

It is with a heavy heart that I share that Palisades Plumbing, our family business, has been deeply affected by the Palisades fires.

Our dad came to this country in 1985 in pursuit of the American dream. Finding work was an uphill battle for him, as he faced discrimination because of the color of his skin. But a kind-hearted family in the Palisades, Mr. and Mrs. Rossilli, gave him an opportunity to work for them, seeing his potential and not his appearance. He worked tirelessly, rising through the ranks, and in 2007, he became the proud owner of Palisades Plumbing.

For our family, Palisades Plumbing wasn’t just a workplace; it was a part of our lives and our home. My sister, brother-in-law, and husband all attended Palisades High School. My sisters and I grew up walking the streets of the Palisades, heading to Ronnie’s Market to grab candies, laughing, and playing along the way. Years later, I worked for my parents, and my husband and I raised our oldest son, Jagger, in the Palisades community, sharing countless lunches, coffee breaks, and walks through the neighborhood.

We had held onto so much hope that the business might still be standing. Yesterday, we made the difficult decision to drive out and see for ourselves. What we found left us devastated; it felt like a war zone, an apocalypse. Along with the building, my dad lost 40 years’ worth of tools, all of our work trucks and cars, computers, monitors, a massive amount of inventory, and so much more. The loss is overwhelming, but we are holding onto hope.

For over 40 years, we have had the privilege of serving some of the most incredible customers in this community, many of whom feel more like family than clients. Our hearts break for those who have lost their homes, and for our dear friends and neighbors whose businesses, like ours, are no longer standing. The devastation is unimaginable, and we are deeply sorry for all that you are going through. Please know that we are here to support you in any way we can. Together, as neighbors and fellow business owners, we will rebuild and bring back the strength and spirit of our community. You are not alone in this; we will get through it side by side.

Still, we are committed to rebuilding Palisades Plumbing. It will take time, but we remain optimistic. Palisades Plumbing was a trusted plumbing company serving the community with excellence and reliability for over 40years. Tragically, the Palisades Fire destroyed the business, including all tools, equipment, and the workspace. This effort is dedicated to rebuilding by acquiring essential plumbing tools, ensuring that the team can continue working and supporting their families while providing the same top-quality service to the community.

We deeply appreciate the outpouring of support from everyone who has reached out. Your kindness means the world to us.

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the firefighters, police officers, and all first responders who have worked tirelessly and selflessly during this devastating time. Your bravery, dedication, and sacrifice in protecting lives and property, often at great personal risk, do not go unnoticed. You have been a source of strength and hope for so many in our community, and we are incredibly thankful for everything you have done and continue to do. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your service and for being the true heroes during this crisis.
