Help Restore St. Andrew’s Nursery School
Donation protected
Dear Parents and Community Members,
My name is Malissa Nelson, and I am both a teacher and the Director of St. Andrew’s Nursery School. For over 70 years, St. Andrew’s Cooperative Nursery School has been a cherished part of our community, serving as the home for Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, our Nursery School, summer camps, and more.
Recently, a devastating rainstorm caused severe damage to our facilities. Over four feet of water submerged most of our treasured belongings, and unfortunately, the extensive water damage will not be covered by insurance. This leaves us in urgent need of support to restore our school.
We are blessed with a large group of motivated individuals who are ready to help, but we need the support of our community to fully restore our school. With the start date quickly approaching, we have temporarily relocated our classrooms while we gather the necessary funds and volunteers to return our beautiful spaces to their former glory.
To address this, we are organizing a fundraiser through GoFundMe. The funds raised will directly support our efforts to restore classrooms, replenish essential supplies, replace damaged furniture, and cover any other losses, including materials or wages, due to this tragic event. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. Your generosity will directly impact our ability to rebuild and continue providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners.
Thank you for your support during this challenging time. Your contributions will ensure that St. Andrew’s continues to be a vital part of our community for many more years to come.
Warm regards,
Malissa Nelson
