The Eaton Canyon Fires have turned our lives upside down. Our neighborhood has suffered devastating losses, with many homes destroyed. Thanks to the incredible efforts of our amazing neighbors, who worked tirelessly day and night, our family home was miraculously saved from being completely consumed by the flames.

This home is not just a house—it’s the heart of our family. My parents have lived here since 1986, and it has been a place where generations have come together. It’s where children grew up, grandchildren played, and great-grandchildren made their first memories. It’s where countless family dinners, holidays, and celebrations took place—a space filled with love, laughter, and togetherness.

Now, although the walls are still standing, the fire and smoke damage have made it unlivable. This home is where my parents, my husband, our two children, and I all live together. Our home is part of who we are as a family.

Los incendios de Eaton Canyon han cambiado nuestras vidas por completo. Nuestro vecindario ha sufrido pérdidas devastadoras, con muchas casas destruidas. Gracias a los esfuerzos increíbles de nuestros maravillosos vecinos, quienes trabajaron incansablemente día y noche, nuestra casa familiar fue milagrosamente salvada de ser completamente consumida por las llamas.

Este hogar no es solo una casa, es el corazón de nuestra familia. Mis padres han vivido en esta casa desde 1986, y ha sido un lugar donde generaciones se han reunido. Es donde los niños crecieron, los nietos jugaron y los bisnietos crearon sus primeros recuerdos.
