Help Restore the Manville Pastry Shoppe
Hi my name is Ross and my wife and her family own the Manville Pastry Shoppe. We live a few miles from the bakery. Here is a little story of the store.
The Manville Pastry Shoppe is a family owned and operated since 1966 with an established tradition of making fresh breads, cakes, and pastries. Due to the recent flooding in Manville as a result of Ida, the business is forced to close and will need extensive repairs to the building. Spanning 3 generations, the bakery has always rebounded - 1999 with hurricane Floyd, 2012 with Hurricane Sandy. This time, however, was even worse with the river reaching never before seen heights. This time, the family needs your help. Please consider donating what you can. We've had customers already give their time, scrubbing our floors and we are exceedingly grateful. Thanks to the community. We will build back. Stronger than ever, for generations to come.
