Help Restore Vision for a Loving Mother

As some of you may or may not know, a few years ago my mom suffered from Non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). This event caused her to lose her vision in her right eye. It was a very difficult time for our family as my mother had to learn to navigate the world with half of her vision. However, we were grateful for the remaining vision she had left. We were also hopeful this would not happen again as it is unlikely for NAION to happen in both eyes.

However, a few months ago, our family’s world was turned upside down when my mom suffered another NAION event. This left her almost completely blind. Those of you who know my mom know that she is an incredibly independent woman who spends most of her free time in the service of others. Losing her vision has taken an unfathomable toll on her physically and emotionally. There is nothing I would not do for my mom, and I spent hours scouring the internet for possible treatments. We took her to many doctors and specialists, but unfortunately, in the U.S. there aren’t any treatments for this condition.

Finally, we found a treatment in Germany that has shown positive results for her condition. After many hours researching and making sure this treatment is legitimate, we found that Fedorov Restoration Therapy has shown promising results, improving the vision of 75% of its patients.
