Help retain lawyer fees for custody of my 4 kids

Hi, my name is Jenny and I’m a single mom with 4 children. After 11 years I finally got the courage to leave my abuser. Statistically the average woman will go back 14 times. This unfortunately was true for me. I truly bealive god new I could endour the abuse this man has put me through so I could have my babies. I believe this is why I had such a strong pull to go back many times. This all ended when the same abuse turned to our 9 year old daughter. We spent hours being videoed of our abuse and the DA ultimately didn’t have enough evidence to press criminal charges. I do have DHS in my favor but it’s not enough. My abuser received a settlement and this is how he is able to afford representation. I finally moved back to Idaho where I have family and friends who support me and care about me. I’m finally financially on my own and I do not get child support. I have reached out to faces of hope legal services, Idaho legal aid, Idaho volunteer program, WCA, even legal aid in Oregon. Unfortunately because this case is already in the courts in Oregon I have to retain a lawyer in Oregon. It’s a real bummer because the retainer in Idaho is 3 grand less then what it is in Oregon. I’m doing this as a last resort. I’ve come so far to just hand my kids over for fear of kidnapping or giving my kids to there dad because this got to hard. I need the worlds help to retain a lawyer. I just don’t have that type of cash flow and I would truly be so grateful for any advice, or even a share, $1 even. I’m desperate. I promise I’m doing everything I can. I know it’s the worst time of year to ask because we are truly are all struggling in some way. I’m blessed to even have the courage to do this and I prayed about it. This feels right.
