Help retired Columbus City Police officer in need

Hi. My name is Kathie. I live next door to a lovely elderly man. He can no longer take care of his property, as his health is not good, and he is living on a pension as a retired Columbus City Police Officer.

My husband and I keep his front yard up, and the ivy cut off his trees, to keep them from being choked out. But the back deck is beyond our scope of expertise.

He lives right on the scenic Big Walnut Creek, but can no longer enjoy the view because his back deck is not safe. In fact, it's on the verge of falling down the hill side.

I have a contractor willing to tear the gazebo down and replace it with a simple (and safe) deck. I'm Asking everyone will donate what they can. Every little bit will help! Thank you!
