For years, this station has been a labor of love, funded entirely out of my own pocket. When I became disabled, the world got a little smaller, but the music got louder. I poured everything I had left—my time, my energy, and my remaining resources—into building a platform where real rock still has a home. I’m proud to say that from a small desk in Central New York, we have reached the world. My weekly show is now syndicated on 21 networks across 8 countries. But as the audience grows, the walls of my current setup are closing in.

What makes us different? In the mornings, we skip the usual 'morning zoo' antics and focus on what listeners really want: great rock music. Weather and traffic updates come every 15 minutes, paired with a quick entertainment story, but we keep it all under 90 seconds so we can get right back to the music. Our goal is to create a space where music comes first, and listeners can count on a genuine, no-nonsense radio experience.

We don’t get a lot of feedback yet, but that’s exactly why we need your help—to grow our listener base and start hearing from more people. Here’s what one longtime fan recently shared on Facebook: "RetroRock Radio Network is hands-down one of the best music networks out there! The playlist is always stacked with great music—the kind that takes you back and keeps you hooked. Rhett is my absolute favorite DJ. His voice is incredible, professional, and unforgettable—one of those voices you could listen to all day. He’s quick-witted, effortlessly funny, and brings real personality to every show. Not only does he have a great sound, but he also has deep roots in the music industry and a career that spans decades of experience. If you love classic rock, indie insights, insider knowledge, and a DJ who knows how to entertain—RetroRock Radio Network is where you need to be. Longtime fan here, and I’ll be listening for years to come!"

When I first started in radio, there was a natural path for new talent to develop—overnight shifts gave people a chance to learn and grow. With corporate takeovers, those opportunities have all but disappeared. Nothing would make me happier than to open a pathway into broadcasting for students from Syracuse University and SUNY Oswego. And it’s not just about being on-air: we have real needs for social media, sales, and marketing—areas where today’s graduates are ready to shine. I was lucky to have many mentors who took me under their wing, and I feel a deep responsibility to return that stardust to the universe by helping the next generation find their place in radio and media.

Your support will take us from a basic USB interface to a professional broadcast mixing board and high-end compression—giving us that 'big station' punch. By upgrading to NextKast On Air, we can finally allow remote DJs to share our library and imaging, turning this from a one-man operation into a community of broadcasters. Most importantly, it gets us out of the 'bottom tier.' It puts us on iHeartRadio and Audacy, and allows us to launch a real marketing campaign to blanket Central New York with the news: Independent radio is back.

I’m asking you to help me cross this final bridge. I’ve taken this as far as one man can go on his own. Be the 'marrow' of this station’s bones. Help me keep the music playing, the signal clear, and the 'New Brew' independent. Every bit of support helps, and you are buying a piece of radio history.
