A LATE Father's Day Wish

~Hey guys, I’m normally not one to ask for help in this severity of a situation but this situation really came out of the blue a couple months ago and I am still processing this. It's the reason I've been so distant and away from reality... You can say I've been a mess bottling up all kinds of emotions on this terrible subject.
My father has recently fallen ill and does not have much time left on this earth. My father is the only family member I have in this world and is by far the person I am closest too. I’m all he has and he’s all I have. I am desperate to get out there to him to Arkansas AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE so that I can introduce him to his only two grandkids/grandsons (My sons Devin and Gavin) for the very first and possible last time.
He recently had a pacemaker inserted for heart issues but the issues have worsened and he is currently in the ICU. He is currently experiencing dizzy spells and fainting. To complicate matters further he was also diagnosed with liver disease. I have been in contact with his nurse but there is some paperwork at his hospital out of state that I need to review to better understand the prognosis.
Due to the sudden nature of his health turn tickets are quite expensive.
I have been researching prices on expedia and cheaptickets.com but it is still expense.
Below is a rough breakdown of costs for 1 whole week to go see him with my 2 sons.
Roundtrip Flights (1 adult and 2 children): $1800
Hotel (1 week): $1,400
Rental car: $500
Food and other expenses for 3: $800
Total: $4,500
This is not including the time off from work that I will need to take to be with my father for a week which unfortunately doesn’t stop the bills from coming. I am hoping to raise $6,000 but seriously every little bit helps. Please find it in your heart on this unexpected situation to help me grant a last wish for my father and my sons and for me as well. I will be forever indebted to you.
This has been very Hard for me as my father is the only family that I talk to and get along with. He's had a rough life as have I and we really need each other in this un expected time of need. Any and everything helps so much; more than you know.

He is alone all by himself in Arkansas dealing with this all by himself which has caused him to feel quite down and it has me feeling down of course.. he's a good guy that got dealt a shitty hand of cards in this thing we call life..
