Help Reverse Iceland's Whaling Decision

Last Whaling Station and Hvalavinir are teaming up to send a special holiday wish to Bjarni Benediktsson, the interim Prime Minister of Iceland, and the Minister for Food, Agriculture, and Fisheries.

Bjarni Benediktsson just authorized the unlimited renewal of whale hunting licenses to kill endangered fin whales and minke whales - over 2000 in the next five years alone.

Henry Alexander Henrysson, @hahenrysson, a philosopher and member of the professional council for animal welfare, says the decision is completely unbelievable. Katrín Oddsdóttir, @kataodds, a lawyer for the Icelandic Nature Conservation Association, describes the issuance of the permit as absurd administrative behavior.

Please help support our effort to bring legal action to reverse this decision and end whaling.
