Help Reyes Family with Medical Bills

and my families’ lives took a sharp turn. Renny wasn’t feeling good two days prior, but just thought it was virus or his lack of a gallbladder acting up. The symptoms he was having was all related to the news we were about to find out. Renny had a cardiac event were his heart rate dropped to the low 30’s and he was rushed to the ER. There we learned the enzymes in his heart were elevated, and he was admitted to the hospital. With further testing it was confirmed that he has heart failure, due to his left ventricle only operating at 20%. While we are so blessed he is here, this incident has changed our lives and has come with a lot of costs that we are not finically ready for. As of right now Renny is off work for awhile with this event, and will also be getting hand surgery that he HAS to have. So our income is dropping significantly, and we are already on a tight budget. We have to change a lot of the food we are eating, which will be more expensive and frequent since it all has to be fresh. We would also like to get him a smart watch to be able to call 911 if he is having another cardiac event as his phone isn’t always easy to grab. We also became aware that we will need to sit down with a lawyer or attorney and make a living will which is pretty pricey. The money will also go to all of his medical cost. Equitment, copays , work out classes to strengthen the heart, and pay off the hospital bills we have incurred. Last but not least and this is the most important thing, his medications that are 1) healing his heart but 2) making it stronger are not cheap! With insurance it will be about 200 a month… and honestly that just isn’t in our budget, but now it HAS TO BE! These medications are helping keeping him alive to be a Dad, husband and friend.
