Help Rezeq's family with 3 months baby to survive Gaza war

Fear, terror, starvation, destruction, and death, that is the daily life in northern Gaza. We need your help to survive. My name is Rezeq, I live in northern Gaza with my wife Hanady, our two-year-old son Omar, and our three-month-old daughter Rafeef.
Since the Gaza war started on October 7th, our lives have been filled with fear and hunger. We've been forced to move from one house to another and from one shelter to the next, searching for safety. A few days after the war began, there was a blackout, no electricity and no internet. Both my wife and I lost our jobs as software engineers.
We had to leave our home as it was in a dangerous area and have moved seven times so far, running for our lives. Initially, it was just the three of us, with my wife four months pregnant. Later, our baby joined us, born in a barely functioning hospital through a risky surgery due to the lack of regular check-ups.
In northern Gaza, it takes tremendous effort and money to meet basic needs. For example, preparing a bottle of milk requires a day spent searching for baby formula in the market. Often, it's only available on the black market at double or triple the price. Finding clean water is also a struggle; boiling it involves starting a fire. The same applies to cooking food or making a cup of coffee.
Currently, there is severe starvation in northern Gaza. The markets are empty, no vegetables, no fruits, no meat, no fish, not even eggs. The only available items are a few canned goods, sold at exorbitant prices.
We have lost our income, our home, and some of our family and friends. My wife lost her father and uncle to this war. Our children have lost their dreams, their right to play, learn, and grow up in peace.
Despite all this, we still have hope, hope to escape this terror and destruction, and leave this war zone for a place where our kids can follow their dreams. But it will cost, and we need your help to survive.
What we are trying to survive:
- 15,821 children killed
- 10,475 women killed
- 85,911 wounded and injured
- 3,500 children at risk of death due to malnutrition and lack of food
- 150,000 housing units completely destroyed
- 80,000 housing units rendered uninhabitable
Here is a breakdown of how this fund will be spent:
- 10,000 for food, rent, and medical expenses until we can leave Gaza
- 5,000 for issuing necessary papers, passports, visas, and tickets
- 20,000 for border crossing fees (5,000 per person)
- 15,000 to settle in, pay rent, and cover expenses for the first few months
Thank you for your generosity. Your donation will be spent wisely, ensuring our survival and giving our children a chance at a peaceful future.
