Support Rhea's Journey to Overcome Breast Cancer

Hello everyone,

As a group consisting of Luisa, Kavita, Aleks, and Marta, we come together to represent our dear friend, Rhea Lungull, on this GoFundMe platform. If you're fortunate enough to know Rhea, Keith, and their amazing kids - Carson, Charlie, and Carter (Bubba, ChaCha, and Bam) - then you understand just how incredible and special their family is.

This summer, Rhea received a life-altering diagnosis: stage 2 breast cancer. She has an exceptional team of oncologists, and she's already begun the challenging journey of chemotherapy. The prognosis is optimistic, but her cancer treatment is rigorous, consisting of multiple phases of therapy with extended recovery periods. The road ahead is long, with at least a year of treatment, potential additional therapy, and a prolonged period of recuperation and monitoring.

The costs associated with Rhea's treatment will be ongoing and will continue into the foreseeable future. Expenses like air purifiers, medications, frequent trips to the cancer center, essential care products, and the possibility of room rentals to isolate while her immune system is down after chemotherapy may also be necessary due to their three school-age children (and all those pesky germs). Maintaining a sense of normalcy for the kids during Rhea's recovery weeks also requires extra support.

We've created this GoFundMe campaign to provide a platform where Rhea and Keith can receive the love and support they need in the coming years. Rhea is the type of person who selflessly offers help to others but finds it challenging to ask for help and support herself. Many of you have generously offered your support, and managing all these kind gestures has the potential to be a full-time task. It's not always feasible for Rhea and Keith to plan for their needs or coordinate with their incredible network of friends and family. This GoFundMe simplifies the process, enabling you to send your love and support directly to them. With your help, they'll have the flexibility to ensure Rhea's well-being remains the top priority.
