Help Ricco’s Family Recover and Rebuild

On December 2, 2022, the corner store adjacent the home of Sherril Gordon and Ricco Martin Jr. caught fire and severely damaged their home. Not only does the interior of the home have water damage affecting ceilings, floors, and plaster, but windows have been broken, and appliances have been damaged beyond repair. The exterior of the home needs brick work done to secure the structure, as bricks shifted from the blazing heat.

The family also had to discard or replace a multitude of personal affects that have been damaged, including clothes, shoes, and other personal belongings, including a laptop Ricco needs for school.
