Help Mike Overcome His Medical Debt

Hello, I'm (Richard) Mike Hungerford. I was hospitalized recently, with no health insurance and a limited and fixed income. I came away with a $125,000 bill, of which I must pay $75,000 that I don't have. My income is enough over the Federal poverty level that I don't qualify for any of the forms of assistance I've looked at so far, and is just enough to pay my rent, utilities, and food, with very little left over.

Additionally, I have ongoing costs for medications, supplies, and office visits.

I was and am very grateful for the kind assistance given me in a previous GoFundMe to cover expenses following my wife's death in 2022, and reluctantly ask for help once again.

All funds will be used toward paying the hospital bill and covering some of the ongoing expenses.
