Help Richie Through This Terrifying Tragedy

One of our favorite families needs your HELP and ACTION for their sweet, kind, funny, and smart dad RICHIE TICE. Anybody who knows Richie could give you thousands of reasons why he's so special. Richie is and has been a staple in our music family for decades. He is an exceptional brother, son, friend, and member of the community to all who know him.

Richie was going about his life working hard and doing normal everyday things until last Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 when chaos ensued. Richie was at his home where he experienced two seizures out of the blue. After the second seizure, his wife called for medical help. Richie was raced to the emergency room where he endured another onset of seizures. Due to the amount of seizure activity and the stress it was putting on his body, they decided to induce a medical coma. He was monitored under this medically induced state until late Sunday afternoon.

Richie is now beginning to understand what happened, and of course is more concerned with how this is affecting everyone else, and not him. After being in the hospital and closely monitored for more than a week, he is being released today, Friday, August 11th, 2023. But this is not the end to his uphill battle.

Instead of Richie returning to work as planned, Richie will undergo countless therapies, and require more aide than normal. Aside from all the physical and mental anguish, this will result in tremendous hardship for the entire Tice family.

I have set up this GoFundMe to raise money for mounting medical bills, therapies, in-home medical care, and the weeks and possibly months of missed work. I have been close family friends with the Tice family for over 10 years. They are a beautiful family of 4 who are wonderful members of the Denver music scene, along with our work family. So please, let's rally behind them and support them in this senseless tragedy.
