Help Rick & Lill through this difficult time

Rick ended up in Vegreville Hospital a couple of nights ago and from there was transferred to the U of A due to the seriousness of his foot infection.   As a result, his right leg will be amputated hopefully below the knee. It all started a few days ago when he literally rolled his ankle several times to the point where all bones we’re shattered beyond repair.  He had no idea this was happening because he has no feelings in his legs.  It got so bad that one of the bones that normally sits at the top of the ankle ended up pushing down through his foot to the point where it literally blew out the bottom of his foot causing a major wound and being that he is diabetic, repairing it is virtually impossible as it would never heal properly. 

My name is Deniece and I am Rick’s sister.  I am starting this fundraiser to help Rick and Lill with upcoming medical expenses throughout this devastating time.  Recovery is going to be a long hard process and I don’t want them to have to worry about expenses for the next little while.  Hopefully Rick will become a candidate for a prosthetic leg down the road.
