Help Rick Williamson rebuild his sustainable home

Hi my name is Arielle Williamson and I am Rick Williamson's eldest granddaughter.

I am saddened to share that my grandfather lost his home in the Boulder County Wildfires yesterday. He texted us at 5 am this morning after sneaking into his neighborhood to see the damage of his home, "It's gone". Along with over 500 homes and 6,000 acres of land, my grandfathers home has been completely destroyed.

A home holds memories, moments, photos, collections, and personal belongings. For my grandfather, his home was more than this; it was his life work. He called it the Sustainable Smart Home Living Learning Center and was almost entirely built with my grandfathers two hands- and it was completely sustainable. Even after a year and a half when he received his occupancy permit, he dedicated majority of his days to his “projects” he had around the house. This house was a culmination of his life work and learning, with a goal of being a change agent and inspiring others.

My grandfather is not a fancy guy and never asks for anything.
