Help Rida’s Recovery & Get her Prosthetic Arms
Donation protected
On 13th of September 10-year-old girl Rida Iftekhar Ahmad’s life changed forever. Rida is a sweet girl playing outside on a balcony and decided to grab and swing on a wireline, unknowingly an electric wireline that caused her to be electrocuted. She was rushed to the hospital, where they were able to save her life but she was badly burned throughout her entire body. Most severe burns were on arms, hands, and legs. She has had multiple blood transfusions and skin graft surgeries but the doctors could not save her arm. Her right arm had to be amputated due to necrosis. Rida’s family has struggled with this news but remained hopeful that at least she still has her left hand. But on her 11th birthday a few days ago, the family learned that her left hand has to be amputated as well. Shortly after turning 11, Rida had her left hand amputated. This family and little girl are devastated, to say the least. They are struggling with hospital bills and what this means for their little girl’s long-term future. Living as a girl in Pakistan is challenging enough, but living as a female with disabilities is unbearable. Without resources or funding, this family will live a lifetime of heartache coping with this disability and financial hardship for the care required for this child life-long. I am a friend of this family and I’m asking for your help. Help this family, this little girl survives this ordeal. With your help, we can unburden this family’s financial distress and help cover hospital bills, skin grafts, and physical therapy and help this girl get prosthetic arms. Let's show this family our kindness and generosity, please donate and share this post so more people can help.
