Help RiderCoach Julie fight brain cancer
Donation protected
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we sadly share the news of our dear friend, and lead RiderCoach, Julie Gruver, who has been diagnosed with brain cancer.
After feeling unwell for a few days, her brother took her to urgent care last Friday, as she was unable to complete basic tasks like tying her shoes or putting her helmet on. After an MRI and many other tests, it was determined that she had an egg sized tumor on the right side of her brain. Julie underwent surgery to have it removed, and although she did better than the doctors expected, she will need to continue radiation and chemotherapy. Her four sons have flown in from all over the country to help care for her, and although they are doing a terrific job, cancer is expensive. She will need as much assistance as she can get as this means being unable to work and having to move out of Colorado to receive the proper care and to be closer to her sons and grandchildren. We have set up a gofundme page…the link is in our bio.
If Julie has inspired you, encouraged you, coached you, or helped you in anyway, please consider helping her during this very shocking, scary, and difficult time.
If you can’t donate or if you’d like to send her words of encouragement, she would love to receive your letters of appreciation and support. She can receive mail here:
