Help Riker Smile

Hi my name is Evelyn. Our dog Riker is a wonderful companion for my daughter and serves as her ESA (anxiety). Riker is a rescue dog who came to us with more health issues than we expected. We have managed most everything but his teeth. They are loose and cause him pain. We have maxed out our financial resources.
When we got Riker, I thought that he was a pretty dumb dog. After a week or two I realized that he didn't understand English. What a hoot! After a few more months I settled in to realize that for all of his cuteness, he really isn't very bright. Here, he stuck his head into the empty cat food bag and just froze! Finally the cat came over and started batting the bag until he realized that he could simply shake it off.
He is the perfect companion for my daughter. Both are afraid of people, children, water (ocean, lake, creek), butterflies, traffic, loud noises, and interacting with much of the world. Riker has let only two people other than us pet him (without being held). Once he was stuck in the shopping cart at Dollar Tree and the clerk petted him and months later Riker let a new mail carrier actually pet him.
We are raising money for another oral surgery in January. Can you help him smile? Thank you.
