Help Rishi Heal from Severe Burns

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the story of Rishi, a vibrant and joyful 1-year-old boy who has recently suffered severe burns in a tragic accident. Rishi is a curious and loving child who brings light into the lives of everyone he meets. Now, he needs our help to recover and heal from this devastating injury.

On a seemingly ordinary afternoon, Rishi was playing in the kitchen when a pot of boiling water was accidentally knocked over. Despite quick action, Rishi sustained multiple second and third-degree burns over his body. He was rushed to the ER and then flown to Shriner's Hospital where he has been receiving intensive care in the burn unit. The extent of his injuries requires multiple surgeries, skin grafts, and extensive rehabilitation.

Rishi’s road to recovery will be long and challenging. The medical team has outlined a comprehensive treatment plan that includes several surgeries, prolonged hospital stays, and specialized care to ensure the best possible outcome for him.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to raise money to cover Rishi's ongoing medical costs, treatments, rehabilitation, and to support his family during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in Rishi's recovery.

Rishi is a fighter with a spirit that has inspired his family. Despite the pain and the long road ahead, he continues to smile and bring joy to those around him. There are few people as beloved in our community as Sam, Becky, and Rishi. They need our support to give Rishi the best chance at a full recovery.
