Rita McLaughlin Walter needs your help

Family and Friends,
As you may have heard, our mother, Rita Walter, has been diagnosed with Multifocal Glioblastoma, an extremely aggressive form of terminal brain cancer.
Mom was admitted to Saint Peter’s University Hospital on August 14th. Tests that evening revealed that she had three brain tumors, one large and two smaller ones. Surgery was scheduled immediately with Dr. Martinez, the neurologist.
Due to the larger tumor being entangled with her frontal lobe, the surgeon could only remove a small portion of it. The surgery was able to alleviate pressure in the brain, but the other two tumors were too deep to be touched.
Mom was transferred to Riverview Acute Rehab Medical Center, where she is regaining strength and relearning simple everyday tasks, a skill that the trauma of the tumors and the invasive surgery took so quickly away.
The doctors recommend chemotherapy and radiation.
We are planning on using all of your generous donations for companion care, medical bills and home equipment deemed absolutely necessary for mom at home. Most of these medical supplies, if not all, are not covered by the insurance.
We are humbly asking for your help, whether it’s financial support, or expertise in matters like this.
Mom’s unwavering faith has had a lasting impact on everyone she has met. Please keep her in your hearts and prayers. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you and God Bless!
