UPDATE: We've been blown away by the love and support, so wanted to clarify that according to current research, Sonny's conditions are not curable, so this family will need long-term support no matter how things progress on the medical side. We'll continue to raise the threshold for this campaign as you guys continue to love on this family so beautifully.
Sonny with his wife and three kids: River (5.5), Dakota (4yo), and Shae (2yo)

The Story So Far:
Sonny was suddenly hospitalized on February 1st due to the aggressive onset of two rare autoimmune diseases. Doctors are still looking for a treatment that will slow the progression of these diseases, while also waiting for an emergency double-lung transplant to save his life.
Georgia locals may know Sonny (artists name River Wolf) from performing on the patio at Izumi’s (Woodstock & Cumming), XenGo Fusion, fishing off of his kayak, or playing with his three kids at the local parks. If you know him, you also know his unbelievably giving heart and his love for people.
He was previously out of work for several months, trying to get answers for his symptoms. Jona, his wife, is now on paid leave (thank you OneCoast) to be with him at the hospital, while their three children remain in the care of close family.

"Miracle in Marietta" Wedding
On February 11th, Sonny surprised us all by waking from sedation many hours before expected, and fully himself. The first thing his doctor suggested was that the hospital throw together something Sonny had been asking for since first arriving at the hospital: a wedding for the love of his life.
In less than 5 hours; family, friends, and their three children were gathered around the Wellstar Kennestone Garden, cheering the new Mr. & Mrs. Legaspi. Healthcare staff were gathered at the windows on every floor, waving and holding signs congratulating the couple.
Keep him, his family, and the many people who love him all in your prayers.
