Help Rixen get her TPLO Surgery

Meet Rixen

Rixen is a 6-year-old border collie-golden retriever mix. Rixen is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet! She gets along with every dog and loves to play and swim. Recently she blew out her cruciate ligament (while playing) and needs surgery to fix it. Seeing such a sweet dog unable to play, much less put weight on her leg, is heartbreaking.

Rixen and her mom Morgen have been inseparable since day 1. Morgen is one of the best dog owners I have ever seen. She loves and cares for Rixen unconditionally. In order to reduce the risk of Rixen blowing out the cruciate ligament in her other leg, Morgen wants to get Rixen’s surgery as soon as possible.

As you can imagine, a surgery like this (plus pain meds and therapy) can be pretty pricey and is something no pet owner is prepared for. Morgen is not one to ask for help, so I am asking for her. Anything to help get Rixen back on her feet and back to playing would be greatly appreciated!
