Help a Resilient Mother Rebuild After Domestic Violence

Hello, my name is Ro, and I am reaching out for your help during a challenging time. I am an autistic narcoleptic mother of two wonderful children, ages 5 and 7. Recently, I made the difficult decision to leave a long-term situation involving domestic violence to create a safer and more stable environment for my kids and myself. We arrived at our new home with only a few bags of clothing and a single old bed.

While I work as a machine learning engineer specializing in automation, I am currently off contract and waiting for my next opportunity to open up. This gap has left me struggling to cover our basic expenses, including rent and essential items for my children. Additionally, I am waiting for insurance coverage, which means I am paying over $500 a month out-of-pocket for necessary medication.

Our immediate needs are rent money for this month and, if possible, a bunk bed for my children's room, along with some new clothing. Any extra funds will go toward care items for the kids and household essentials to help us get back on our feet.

I am in this state mostly alone, without a strong support network to rely on. Despite these challenges, I am determined to provide a loving and stable home for my children. Your support, no matter the amount, would mean the world to us and help us navigate this difficult transition.
