Help Roastie Wraps stay on the road

Hi everyone,

My name’s Olly, and I’m the owner of Roastie Wraps, a food stall serving hearty roast dinner wraps. Starting this business just three months ago was the proudest moment of my life. After years of overcoming personal struggles, I poured everything I had into making it a success—and the first few months were incredible.

But December has been tough. Horrendous storms led to market closures, and issues with booking pitches—completely out of my control—meant I couldn’t trade as much as I needed to. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a fallback plan for something like this, and now I’m facing a serious challenge to keep Roastie Wraps alive.

I live in supported housing, but the kitchen I have access to is not suitable for preparing food for my business. I had been relying on an external space to prep, but due to unfortunate circumstances, I’ve lost access to it, leaving me unable to operate.

This isn’t just a business for me—it’s my second chance. After overcoming homelessness, addiction, a life-changing accident involving a fire on a boat I was sleeping on, and serious health problems, I turned my life around to build Roastie Wraps. This is more than just a stall; it’s my way of giving back and building a brighter future.

I’m starting this fundraiser with the immediate goal of securing a deposit for a new prep kitchen or, if possible, working towards a food truck. A suitable kitchen will allow me to get back to work, while a food truck would provide long-term flexibility and independence for Roastie Wraps.
