Help Rob & Elsa Anderson with medical expenses

Hi, my name is Christa and I am setting this fundraiser up on behalf of my sister, Elsa, and her husband, Rob. On Saturday, November 5th, Rob experienced a syncopal cardiac event and was taken to the hospital. He was discharged later on that day and went home with a heart monitor. On Tuesday, November 8th, Rob experienced cardiac arrest at home. Elsa immediately began CPR and called 911 for backup. They performed CPR for 45 minutes until he regained a pulse and could be readmitted to Saint Charles Hospital, where he has remained in stable but critical condition.

Elsa just recently changed jobs and does not have paid leave while caring for Rob. We don't know what the next days, weeks, and months will entail, but it will be a long road of recovery for Rob. We are hoping to raise some funds to help them cover basic living expenses while neither of them can work, as well as medical costs from his ongoing hospital stay.

Rob is an incredibly warm-hearted, funny, and loving person who would literally give the shirt off his back to help another person. We cannot wait for him to get home safely to be with Elsa and their dog Appa.
